Rules & roleplay
The cab depot is downtown and shows on your map once you have the job. Head there and press E to be handed a cab — and remember to return it to the same place when you clock off.
Rides for real players
As a driver, use /taxitablet: it contains player calls, automatic NPC calls,
and emergencies from other drivers. The first driver to accept gets the ride.
An emergency can be routed directly to your GPS from the tablet.
Players book a cab in the taxi app on their phone (F1). While you are on duty, you are notified of every new call, and you find them all in that same app.
Rides are first come, first served: open the app and take the call, and the route is put on your GPS.
The system works out the price itself — 50 kr. flag fall plus 40 kr. per kilometre — and settles it automatically when the ride ends. The customer pays from cash first, then from the bank, and the money lands as cash on you. If the customer gets out along the way, you are paid for the distance you covered.
NPC customers
NPC calls appear automatically on the driver tablet. During the ride, open the
meter controls with /taxabetjening and offer water or a sandwich. The item is
removed from your inventory and gives a fixed tip bonus plus a better chance of
an additional tip. Each item can only be served once per customer.
When there are no players to drive, you can pick up ordinary customers off the street. Open the radial menu (Z) and pick NPC Mission — the customer is then marked on your GPS.
- Drive to the customer and press E
- Follow the GPS to the drop-off
- Press E at the drop-off — the fare is paid out in cash right away
The price is locked in the moment you pick the customer up, and the meter counts up towards it as you drive.
Rides you arrange yourselves
Use /taxabetjening to set the flag fall, per-kilometre rate, and waiting rate.
Waiting starts being billed after the cab has stood still for 30 seconds. Booked
rides remain server-locked and cannot be made more expensive here.
For a ride agreed outside the system, start the meter with /taxastart and show/hide it with /taxameter. You settle the payment between you.
