Rules & roleplay

Some places in the city can be robbed. Hold Left Alt and aim at the spot – if it can be robbed, an option shows up.

A robbery is a series of steps. It can be waiting, taking the cash from a trolley or moving on to the next place. The next step appears when you finish the one before.

You have to be there. Walk too far away in the middle of a step and it does not count – you start that step over. A step takes as long as it takes; you cannot skip it.

You get the loot when you are through. The cash lands in your pocket straight away.

Tools. Some steps need thermite, a bomb, an access card or a glass cutter. If you are missing it, it says what. Thermite and bombs are usually used up.

Locked doors. A door can be locked until someone burns or blows their way through. Then it stays open until the place has rested.

The police. Some robberies can only be started when there are enough officers in the city – otherwise it says so. And along the way an alarm can go off, giving the police the location.

A place that has been robbed needs to rest. Afterwards it cannot be robbed again for a while – if it says This place was just robbed, come back later. And there can only be one robbery going on at a place at a time.

The robbery ends if you log off, or if it takes too long (half an hour). Then you start over – once the place has rested.

Robberies are not marked on the map – you have to find them in the game.
