Rules & roleplay
Fishing doesn't need a job.
Gear is sold at the fishing shop in Del Perro (Left Alt on the clerk). Rods from 2,500 kr. – the better ones need a higher level. Bait from 150 kr. Pay with cash or card.
How to fish
- Use the rod from your inventory by the water and choose bait
- When a fish bites: move the box with Q and E, and reel in with Space when the bar is full
- Keep the fish or let it go
Stay where you cast. If the line snaps, the rod can break. The more you catch, the higher your level – and more kinds of fish start biting.
Where? Del Perro pier and the Alamo Sea are on the map (the lake needs level 2). The further out to sea, the bigger and pricier the fish, but you need to be in a boat. Sharks and whales only bite in deep water.
Sell to the fishmonger in the same shop. Fish from deeper water are worth more.
Rent a boat in Del Perro (cash) or La Puerta (card): from 2,500 kr. an hour plus a deposit of twice that. Return the boat at the same jetty in time and you get the deposit back. If it doesn't come back, the deposit is lost and the police put out an alert on the boat.
